Endless Days looks like it has very heavy substance. Is it called Endless Days because it blooms for so long?

Who knows why Phil Korth names his intros what he does. I mean he has one called Rocks Cry Out. What a strange name for a lovely daylily. I mean I have never heard a rock say anything LOL! So Endless Days has a pretty normal bloom time.

Absolutely beautiful, Rita! Can you tell me what the chartreuse yellow daylily with the reddish eye next to Herbgirls Cherry Moonshine is? It looks fantastic. And your Westbourne Butterfly Season is totally gorgeous! I'll have to check that one out on her website. You have so many amazing daylilies!

Korth has some wonderful daylilies worthy of trying. Thanks to Rita she got me looking at his more and more. All I need is more room. Some I would use in my program but there are so many I would just love to enjoy just because.

Korth daylilies are really great for those in extreme northern climates as he hybridizes in a cold zone 4. Betty, that one next to Cherry Moonshine is KISSES LIKE WINE. I will try to find a picture later of it to post, I know I have one.

One of the backyard beds.

As the daylilies really get going I take lots of overviews and garden shots. That is the only one I had done so far as not much had been in bloom. Hopefully I can do some more later or tomorrow.

I switched myself to putting the caption of which daylily it is too the top of the picture. I found that it works better for me. This way I don't forget what it was by the time it uploads.

Fabulous daylilies, Rita! You know, I checked Mary Jane's website for Westbourne Butterfly Season, and it's not there now. And I double-checked the AHS database and found it registered in 2005, so maybe she did away with it or she simply does not have it for sale right now. Bummer! I really loved it! And thanks for the picture of Kisses Like Wine too -- it's really beautiful!

Betty, don't pay much attention to Mary Janes Website. She just sort of has that so one can look up her daylilies. Go on the Lily Auction. I have over 40 Westbourne daylilies and I bought every single one on the Lily Auction. She sells in the summer for fall shipping and in the fall for spring shipping. Sellername Bubbles.

Christine, I've discovered that you can check out individual daylilies on the right side up near the top of each page right here on this cubit under the heading "Handy Links." Then you click on "AHS Online Database," which takes you directly to the search page and you just need to fill in the name of the daylily and hit the "Search" button to get the registration information, which would include the hybridizer of that daylily. It's very handy, and I now use it all the time -- although I'm sure that I've forgotten to follow my own advice upon occasion... But it is a very handy reference for us that I really appreciate.

Philistine Champion is from Phil Korth in Wisconsin. He hybridizers in a zone 4 and his flowers are amazing.

http://daylily.net/gardens/pin...
Phil Korths Pinewood Gardens. Most of has older intros (and that includes 2007 intro Philistine Champion) are no longer available on his site. I know of no were else one can get them, sometimes some (rarely) on the Lily Auction.

It really does make life easier for me when I can just post links like that but I know it makes it nicer when the pictures are actually here.
