Hope so, Linda. Talking even lower temps here starting Friday morning through the weekend. Hope my roses and the one clematis with buds can recover. I always count on them coming through December to help me get through January and February.

Debra even when our temps hit 18 F one year the roses survived just fine. I bet yours will be ok.

Sorry, Linda, I meant that all of the roses have buds/blooms right now, and I hope the cold doesn't kill those off. The shrubs themselves should be fine. But thank you for the encouragement.

I can't remember if I had buds that froze or not . I have lots of buds right now as well so you and I will spend a restless few nights if the cold hits !

The snow flurries we had yesterday didn't amount to anything, didn't stick. Today they are predicting a high of 53, very unusual for December. Dark and dreary out right now and the pavement looks wet. Must have rained some overnight.

Headed for nearly 80 today...then the downward slide begins (mooHaHaHa!)

Mostly cloudy and cold @ 14 degrees, windy, so that means wind chill making it even colder...

We had snow overnight and it is still snowing the temp is not to bad at 29. Tomorrow it is going to get very cold down to the teens.

It is nice here today. 44 degrees currently now at lunch time. Plus it is a nice sunny day.

It's 16 degrees out, with 3 inches of snow on the ground. I think I'll stay inside again today! Beautiful blue skies though, so it's pretty!

Margaret's Canadian clouds have just entered Tucson. Windy as well and hopefully rain by tonight.

Hope you ladies down in the Texas area are careful. I saw on the weather channel that you are going to get lots of freezing rain. I think I would rather have snow than ice.
