Debra, poor you, that is cold for your area.

Debra they are predicting a hard freeze here for Friday morning, around 30 . I have a yard full of potted Coleus. The colors are so beautiful and they are my fall ! They will not make it thru this mostly likely. I do love the cold temps but will grieve those plants for sure.

Linda, sorry to hear that about the frost, I know how you love those plants, maybe take as many as you can inside or somewhere protected with a cover over them.

Thanks Margret. I do have my rooted cuttings I will bring inside and maybe a few plants but those limbs snap off so easily when I try and cover them. Just gonna let nature take its course this year.

And if you guys are getting that weather then it means it will be 3-5 days before it reaches us after hitting you guys. Our forecasts don't go out that far so I'm glad for the heads up. That means I better get busy this week & get everything done that I need to which needs to be done in warm weather.

It hasn't really been too bad here today. It was cloudy most of the day but there was no wind and it didn't feel all that cold out. Can't complain for this time of year.

The wind is what gets me. I can adore 30 degrees as long as the wind doesn't blow.

Yesterday it got colder as the day progressed, sure hope that doesn't happen today!!

We have today and tomorrow topping out at 50°f with a little rain mixed in. The bottom drops out on Friday with temps struggling to get to 20°f. OH CANADA, OH CANADA !!!!!!!

Thanks Glen, lovely photos. Especially like that first one. I have been taking more cuttings today. Plus they are now raising the night temps a bit for later this week so maybe my plants will survive.
