Today, driving down Canyon Run, street outside our community, I spotted a bunch of very large seed pods hanging on this plant. So, of course, I turned around and plucked off the seed pods. Six in total. The plant hangs over the wall on the street.

I know everyone has this "Trumpet Vine", but thought someone might want some seeds. One of the seed pods.

Wow! The "this morning canna" is impressive ... I have a similar looking color that fried about a month ago! I thought we'd be closer in the affects of the season. Pretty color, though! I think I have the yellow one, too.

Now, do I send the pod green or wait until it dries. it is up to you and I do not need postage. I woild assume eah pod has at least 10 seeds but I will look it up.

The bush was covered with ants and I did not see them until I was back in the SUV and they were crawling all over my passenger seat and my arm. A little distracting driving and killing ants at the same time.

Sharon,
Must be loaded with some sort of nectar. Wonder if it's conducive to attracting birdies. I'd say wait for the pod to dry then send the seeds. The pod may be too bulky in an envelope. I'll Tree-mail my address... I'm sure Becky is OK with me taking them to her.

We are about a month behind you guys this year. All they cannas have seed pods. But they have to stay on the plant until they dry. I do have the names, I am just being lazy. Also the majority of the Hardy Hibiscus have seed pods except Moy Grande. The yellow is either Cleopatra or Picasso.

I am also trying to Bonsai some Jasmine. These two were very large. you could hardly see the boulders. It took me over an hour per bush but I guess that is what nutty people do. Sit on the sidewalk and cut back a jasmine trying to turn it into a tree. Third photo you can see I have a large rock behind the trunk trying to hold the tree straighter.

I have been up since 4:30am. DH left hall light on for the dog and the dog used the light to get into the bedroom by slightly opening the door. Which at 4:30 my brain thought I had enough sleep so I am heading for bed.

Jasmine is pretty. Love your various Coleus.
I have a Pikake Jasmine... It seems to grow sort of Bonsai all by itself!

Sweet Dreams!

By the way Becky, I noticed they turned the yellow rose red. I have to be honest, I liked the yellow one better Smiling The yellow one was more fragrant =)

Hmmmm....I think Pink is my second favorite, and the the lavender to purple roses.
