It is a swamp in Tucson, with the storms once again missing our part of town except for a couple sprinkles last night that amounted to only .05. Crying I have never seen a more humid ,but dry, rain wise summer here, at least for me. Sad 50 % chance today. We shall see. Confused

It's nice, but sad to know I'm not the only one that has that problem Linda. Always very muggy and sweaty in this part of Chandler, but never a drop of rain. The east side of Chandler tends to get mroe of the rain than we do. That huge storm last night, literally just missed me by two to five miles....sigh!

A friend of mine lives in Tulsa. Says the drought is horrid and the outlying farm area crumbly and dusty like the "Dust Bowl". I told him to bury a toad fetish next to a dried up pond. That or rain dance. He's considering both at this point.

Lovey dubby Rainyard, I would love to go on a little vacation but, alas, I have no $$ to do it. I'm truly living vicariously through everyone's facebook vaca trips.

Marie, I'm glad...happy! You needed the rain too.

Look at ow NOAA changed in just 2 1/2 hours. Doesn't look like rain after all....unless they change their mind again.

"Tonight: A 20 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms after 9pm. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 80. Southwest wind at 9 mph becoming east southeast"
