Oh wow, love that Hopewell. Haven't looked at mine for some time.
I have some kind of virus I'm battling, so ended up not going outside today. The sun is beautiful, but there is a breeze and it is quite cold. Sad

I played, or I should say sat, out in the sun today. It was glorious. I think the sun made me feel better. I did take a few photos while I was out there. Green Grin!
I got the beds weeded just before I got sick. So thankful for that. Rain arrives either tomorrow or Tues. Finished just in time.

Two seedlings that I found hiding against the big piece of petrified would last fall. I just left them to grow. They sure put some size on over the winter. I think they are heuffelii. Will know in a few months.

Glad I could show you some green grass Chris. Green Grin!

Hey there Laszlo, how are your semps doing? Or are they all under snow?

Julia, we've had 3 or 4 days in a row with glorious sunshine. It has be so beautiful that my Orostachys are coming out of dormancy. I don't think they have ever come out this early before.

Bev, it doesn't show in the photo very well, but Pacific Mauve is very velvety. Lovey dubby

I just loved looking at the pictures of all the beautiful semps. It seems all of mine have turned close to the same color which surprised me because they all where different when i planted them.I guess they still have some changes to go through.Speaking of cold weather,we had 3 days of cold and today is suppose to be in the mid 60's then 33 tonight and only getting up to 36 tomorrow. The lows are going 33,24 then 15 degree's with chance of the wet stuff tues. and wed. i hope not because we always loose power.

How do semp's in pots do compared to ones planted in the ground during freezing weather??I don't have any but have thought about potting some and was wondering about it.Since last summers constant rains left some of my semp's looking thin and small i thought about potting some of the offsets this spring.
'jaded rose' cleaned up some after it dried out.

This last semp doesn't even look like the same plant. The red you can still see in the first picture is a different color red than what it is now & it had tons of offsets.I am positive it's the same one i have kept records with labeled pictures to spots in the bed. It's amazing the color change.

Now is the winter. Unfortunately, we do not have snow. Few days and the snow will fall. -10 To -15 ° C. I hope it will not be such a problem. Photos are not made now. The plant you you are beautiful. Healthy. Overwinter well. Until then, I look at your pictures.
I hope one month, and already, it will be a good time here. Unfortunately we came in late winter.

JoJoe, one thing with potting up the offsets is that when you get that wet stuff you can pick the pot up and move it under some protection from the wet stuff...Don't necessarily have to bring into house but under a porch or house eave or tree, etc.; Anything that can decrease amount of water going into the pot... Whistling
Also easier to cover from the frost. Smiling
