Yikes, that's a lot of snow. I think I would be packing my bags for a winter beach holiday. Your sidewalks are nice and clean.

Yeah, that's way more snow than usual, and nobody is very thrilled with that. It was also 16 deg. below zero this morning too.

Do they keep the roads clear? Scary pictures on our news with accidents back east.

They do a good job here. Since lots of snow is normal for us they have plenty of equipment and the highway department really does an excellent job. Of course, you'll always have people who continue to drive too fast for conditions and end up in accidents. And if there is a big storm they can't always keep up with all the snow coming down and/or blowing.

Think it would be really hard to judge time in getting to work. Always lived here in Washington state, we have occasional snow fall but seems to warm up and not last too long.

Wow Chris! That looks awesome...in a photo! I do love snow though!! there is something very calming about it to me! (ability to drive a couple hours and get deep fresh mountain snow, hang out a few hours and drive home, is the way I love my snow lately!!)

Those semps are all snuggled up under all that white stuff, happy as can be.

We have a major cold from moving in. Not much in the way of snow, but back down into the teens. Nothing as bad as Chris's cold though. I feel so lucky.

It really is pretty, just wish it didn't last so long. YIKES Lynn, if those were mealy bugs I'd be outta here for sure! I am glad we have snow now though because of the extreme cold.

We have the same snow on the ground from early in the weekend. just a couple inches. That is so unusual for our area, usually melts off within 24-48 hours ... but I hope it is keeping my babies nice and dormant. I want them to stay asleep until it is safe for them to wake up.

Right now it is about 2 degrees got down to about 18 below last night supposed to hit 4-7 above today and then a very gradual warm up. May get to freenzing on Sat or Sunday. OHHHHH my, I am getting cabin fever.

@CDsSister, what are your winter hobbies when gardening is impossible? or do you do indoor gardening too?
Right now my kindle is my best friend and when I can get myself into the living room with the easy chair and good lighting, I might pick up my needlepoint of a picture of a bunch of geraniums...Of course typing on ATP is a good winter hobby too...

Snow is good! especially as I have most of my hundreds of plants in 4 inch pots and plugs. Just got 8 inches today.
