I picked up some of them years ago from Glasshouseworks. I found the white one, a deep red and a yellowish mottled one at Metropolitan Plant Exchange. My huge pink monster ( not visible here) is a Thai-import.

Glasshouseworks has so much stuff on their pages it took me a few clicks to find the E. x lomis.

scroll about 3/4 down on that page to the Thai Giants/large Crown of Thorns.

Kathy, you are welcome to some of mine.

Welcome Julie!!! Love your Aeschynanthus specious. It glows! I have 30 hoyas but many haven't flowered. This week my H. australis ssp. australis bloomed with a marvy scent. It has especially nice foliage for a hoya, I think.

Very cool! I had one that big once but it never ever bloomed. Then I lived in the southwest and found out that lots of my MA houseplants grew as shrubs and bloomed there!!

Fragrance? Hmmm, I have to take an extra sniff test.
Julie, congrats on your new Rhipsalis. I like this one very much!

Kathy, isn't that so when you visit the native habitat of plants! You baby that little thing along to find a whole hillside somewhere covered with it...
This one flowers now right on schedule after being exposed to night temperatures outside in the forties F .

You may then appreciate this bush of Rosemary near the Temple of Zeus in Cyrene/Libya. I remember staring at this one in utter disbelief, until I crushed some of it and smelled it!
