It's almost too floofy for me, but it's small so I like it.

I think Todd Boland has grown them since I see them in his flickr pics.
I have a few plants emerging too. My ground orchids and a corn iris are waiting for heat with their little points sticking up. I'm not sure what I should do either. Here's what I found: http://gardening.about.com/od/...

Hilarious! Bree it may not be a houseplant for those on the east coast. It would be an outdoor plant for me too.

Bree, that is Echeveria Black Prince and I would think this one can take a mild frost.

I like the Amaryllis, but I really love the Rhipsalis. There is something about this group of plants which I find very charming. Cute little blooms. Are these also fragrant? ( some are)

It's the miniature lover in you, Ursula. You often like "tiny, but many" bloomers. They have a slight scent that's strange, not at all floral.

LOL, that's an interesting comment from a woman who lets Stapeliads bloom inside - whew! Speaking of "not at all floral...."

I love all the Amaryllis pictures. Just beautiful, especially Elvas and Joker. I have a NOID blooming right now - actually, this is last weeks. I'll try to get this week's up later - this new stalk is carrying 4 blooms instead of the two on the earlier one.

Lindsey, I would say bring your Freesia inside - they grow and bloom in spring in Arizona, so I'd bet they'd prefer it a little warm to a little cool. But if you can get a hold of Todd for more expert advice, you might be better off!

Kathy, that H. australias looks great. I would love to have more hoyas, have 3 pretty common ones now.
In the end, only kindness matters.

Science is not the answer, it is the question.

I have a bunch of hoyas but only a few bloom and they sure are mealie magnets this time of year! This was the first time the australis bloomed for me. I'm hoping they will all surprise me eventually.
Love the green and orange combo on your hippie. Love them all. I will have 4 flowers open tomorrow on my NOID so we both can post them! Thumbs up

Today I noticed that one of the clivias is budded and brought it in from the cool room. I think this is the yellow one.
