I have been working all day planting flowers in the yellow garden and changing out some under performers. I ripped out the allamanda and night blooming jasmine as the lanai construction will take over that area. They were so big I had to use my truck. I also planted some tri-colored stromanthe in a shady spot in the front.

It's great to hear from Janice and the daffodils are a treat. We can grow them here in the winter but I'm not much of a annuals guy. I have enough perennials to replace to bother with annuals.

The question now is when am I going to get out of the garden and start the taxes?

Hilarious! Better get those taxes done so you'll know if you can pay for that greenhouse.

In continuation, see above's post - well spiced Venison Burgers with extra trimmings on fresh rolls are really really delicious. More flavorful than Beef anytime.... Big Grin
But, the animals are certainly beautiful.... Rolling my eyes.

I think most animals are beautiful. I personally don't care for venison, unless it's jerky, but I won't turn down a beef hamburger. Smiling DH will have to reset the electric fence as soon as the weather allows. He just left the gates open so he wouldn't have to shovel the snow from around them to get the truck out the driveway. Normally, we don't allow them in the yard and Big Mama, the big doe with the notch in her right ear, won't let the youngsters into the yard. She knows the electric fence is trouble, so she came in to chase them back out. You can't help but love a mother. Rolling on the floor laughing
