Lee, when do your cyps bloom? Our acaules and parviflorums bloom on Memorial Day weekend so it's easy to remember.

Oh, ours bloom around the middle of March down here. It usually happens as the daffodils start.
I know that the red-breasted grosbeaks arrive as the dogwood leaves are opening.
Probably with your being so much farther North than we is the difference in bloom time, wouldn't you think?
Ok. Owen's nephew died on March 1st and there were no blooms but just a week or two later they were sending up spikes and had buds. As a matter of fact, when he died, it had snowed the night before and there was about an inch or two of snow on the ground. So, that's how I remember that but before he died, I didn't correlate the times of the blooms but his death stuck in my mind as did the blooming of the cyps.
Does any of this make any sense? I'm rather scatter-brained after spending about 1 1/2 hrs here in this room whilst ATT Support Plus did a tune-up of my compt.
Lee.

Yes, I don't suppose I've ever thought of it using the words "figure out time and space" but you have spoken with profundity.
I read in the 13 pages of peoples' questions, thoughts, input into the ATP that you said you were tired and you simply must be worn out. I didn't sleep last night, so do you think we've run up against the wall as a athlete does and are starting to get morose this afternoon. After hearing of the new site for the first time today, I suppose I'm tired from having done that and all the questions and opinions I have in my mind but as you know, it's usually best for me to try, simply try to just keep my mouth shut until I've had time to evaluate things for a while.

Yah. I was just ready to take a nap all day yesterday but didn't. I get overwhelmed by things when I'm overtired. I did manage a long bath, and a friend and my sister called today so I'm quite chipper again. Thanks for caring Lee. Garden today.

I am bringing a student I worked with for 8 years to my house today. It's her graduation present. She is so excited! She loves roses and there are many in bloom.
