Wait until you see Sun and Sky! It's one of my favorite baby blue's with yellow beards. Or maybe it's Sky and Sun? can't remember off hand.

will it bloom in your garden? will you be posting a picture of it? I may have seen a photo of it on one of Greg's(??) posts. I remember trying to say how beautiful it was and perhaps getting the sun and sky reversed. I am going to put both of those irises on my list.

It's Sky and Sun - Spoon D. 1997. And yes I have it and it's sending up a stalk, it's a bit later. I think Greg had a pic of it on his thread too. You can check it out in the data base.

It poured here this afternoon. Wind, hail, rain -- the whole 9 yards. Good thing -- it hasn't rained in oh, 24 to 25 hours now................

Yes it is! Love that rich gold color! It's a good grower here too.

Rain here too Mary Ann and every once in a while it quits, the sun comes out for 10 minutes and the humidity is at 90 percent. You run out and pick up a spade and you get soaked before you can get into the house. I have been working in the rain when it is not coming down too hard. There is a lot you can't do in a garden when the soil is wet. At least I am not getting wind and hail.

My list grows as my resolve fades. Beautiful irises.

Well, then I'm doing my job, let's see if we can fade your resolve a bit more!

Same here with the rain Mary Ann, every day for over a week now we have had thunder storms and a downpour, my ground is more than saturated, haven't been able to cut the grass, my dogs go outside and look at me as much to say when do you think you are going to cut this grass.

The Kentucky Weather Center tells us that this rainy weather pattern will likely continue through June.

With the amount of rain expected many of us will become "experts" in dealing with bacterial soft rot!

Just started a short down pour here, with more coming. I have LOTS of new blooms, but it was so windy I only got a few pictures to turn out.
