I used to have chickens, but a bobcat broke into the chicken coop and killed them all. It was weird, the bobcat stacked all the dead chickens on top of each other in a neat pile like a butcher would do. Anyway, I believe it when you say your chickens will attack. A neighbor down the road found a rooster and brought it to me. Well that was one mean rooster! Everyday I would let the chickens out of the coop to roam free and that rooster would head straight towards me and attack me. One day I was watering the yard and I heard a "tick-tick-tick" coming from behind me. So I turned my head and here was the crazy rooster coming after me. I dropped the hose and ran...

That was your mistake, you should have sprayed him good with the water. He would have thought twice about chasing you then. lol I have three sweet roosters. (Mature ones) Lost my GP3 this spring. He was a 3rd generation white wyndotte cross, GP3 stood for Grandpa the 3rd. I'm sure there will be a bunch of them among the 22 that I hatched this spring. Some good chicken soup this fall I'm thinking!

Yup, I found it on their facebook page. Nice burgandy standards, nearly black falls, and a gold beard. I have just the place for it.
