I just posted - but my post has disappeared! Oh No!

Just got home and found a Schreiner's box with my long lost Seakist!!! They sent the wrong one last year, so here is to hoping!

I feel like an excited school kid with these iris boxes showing up. Whistling

I have reps from the local community garden coming tomorrow to pick up some plants from me and I am also digging 27 daylilies for them to take, as well--because I need more room for Irises. I need it, I say! Hilarious! Hilarious!

It's been an exciting week.. Both Superstition and Schreiner's came in the last couple of days, and a nice little box from MaryAnn of 'Feedback'

Superstition's order was amazing.. Fresh looking, *very* large rhizomes... Arctic Burst, Bertha Gersdorff, Black Magic Woman, Rainbow High, Open Hearth, Private First Class, Stary Dzvonar, and bonuses Storm Rider and One Step Beyond... Extremely pleased with the quality.

Schreiner's.... Aristocracy, Blackbeard, City Lights, Gypsy Romance, Mary Frances, Persian Berry, Romantic Evening, What Again and Brown Lasso as a replacement for the wrong iris sent last year... And no bonus!!! I'm really hoping they handle this better than my inquiry this past spring trying to identify the wrong iris they sent last year. I was really looking forward to 'Wings at Dawn'..
The surest sign that intelligent life exists elsewhere in the universe is that it has never tried to contact us.

You will love Storm Rider. I got it as a bonus last year. It's very nice.

Wow Sherry -- no bonus from Schreiner's???? Glare

I have had problems with them too -- getting a replacement for an Iris that died within their year replacement policy. No one needs that. There's too many Iris vendors out there who would love to have your business.

I am very suprised the bonus was missing, but then I have never had problems with them. Call them right away. I called about Seakist being Las Vegas this spring and they were fine with sending it again. I always get the same woman answering the phone, maybe she is just the one on top of things.

I think Schriener's has a "minimum order" to qualify for a bonus. I only ordered 4 plants, and received no bonus iris ,either. Bonus iris are no big deal for me, one way or the other....nice, but not necessary. Although some vendors send one, or two bonus plants even with an order of only one, or two plants !....................Arlyn

Yes, but Schriners prices are much higher then many other sources. They have nice big rhizomes though, but so do others.
