I really like how Dave programmed the photo contest on DG where we each went through the different categories, chose our favorites and then narrowed it down to the one we liked best for each category.

I'd rather fewer than more too.

The more you have the more chance you have to compete against your self.

Will have to learn how to use my camera this year. I have some on film from the spring.

Lucy....when you learn to use your digital camera you will kick your own bottom around the block for not doing so sooner.

Thanks Deb, I had no idea the contest had started as there was no announcement that I saw, I don't go to Goodies very often. I just checked it out an there is no info on the number of photos you can enter, no rules either.

It wasn't ready. That it was appearing under Goodies was an error that I have fixed.

The contest starts on October 25th and I will announce it to the homepage on that day.

How long will the contest run? how many days?

It will be open for entries for about 2 weeks. The voting will take place over 3 days.

Guess I had better plan on enjoying the photos of the others then 'cause there's no way I'll be ready with a 'great' photo.

This is very exciting. For me it will be like watching people run a marathon; I can have all the fun with no sweat.
