Hi Fiat, to me it still looks dead. Sad

However, see this Spring, after these batch of rains, bring it out gradually in part sun and see if it revives at all. Cacti are slowly coming out of their winter dormancy now. If still nothing, then that's it, time to get a new one.

This has been a fun and interesting thread. I can't think of what to add right now, but I have had my share. One in mind is an Anthurium crystallinum 'mehani' from clearance, revived awhile but since gone. I could not figure out what it wanted! And learned that it's grown really for the foliage, not the flowers, so I wasn't too upset.
Plant it and they will come.

Echeveria 'Sleepy' was really pouting big time last Nov 2015, really thought I will lose this plant, with winter coming in soon and all the rain expected:

Had cut off that fallen etiolated part, and placed the rosette on the media.

I always find it fun to try and resurrect them again, if I still can. It is a good learning process and exercise in patience, a never stop learning time, so never a waste for me. If it fails, then at least I tried. Perfect excuse to get a new plant once again! Big Grin

I saved a Majestic Palm from a back alley a couple weeks ago. She was sunburned and dry as a bone. I gave her a total soak and I've been misting and watering her every day. One new frond is up and more are on the way! After she has a few new leaves I'll trim the dead ones but for now I'm leaving them on so they can provide the plant with energy... they still have a bit of green on them so they are still contributing to the plant.

tarev said:My Spathiphylllum made that recovery, I was away for more than 2 months in 2011 and my hubby mistakenly took it outside during our summer heat wave thinking it needs more sun. Did not understand it needs more shade. When I returned I quickly put it in shade and kept watering, keeping it moist and eventually came back.

Just an update of my Spathiphyllum, finally a white spathe peeks Hurray! Hurray!

Ludisia (jewel orchid) has been limping along throughout this discussion & I hope I may have found a place it likes, finally. Under Schefflera, with some Peperomia. It was down to 1 leaf again by spring & I put it in the ground where it started to look worse. I put it here 2-3 months ago & it's up to 3 leaves. Maybe it will stop being so suicidal!

Great thread!
My best recovery would have to be my habanero chilli bought late spring 2015 sorry no pics of when it was purchased.
After I took it home I noticed it was covered in greenflies and it got worse! Black gnats started emerging from the soil the Entire plant was weak leaves where dropping at the slightest touch! Soaking entire plant/roots in washing up liquid and Changing the soil helped with the gnat problem but the greenfly where relentless! They just kept coming back I had to butcher the plant in the end! Chopped off every leave and most branches, cut off a good portion of roots that where brown and repotted into a smaller pot! Really thought it was goin to die! It recovered during the fall and even grew a berry size fruit over the winter period!

First pic: late fall
Second pic: over winter
Third pic: today
