My back from almost dead looking Sulcorebutia rauschii:
Initially acquired in June 2016
Overwinterered indoors
April 2017
Looked so whitish pale, the offsets held on, also whitish pale..but it was not squishy, not really sure if it was dead or not, so have put it in shade. We had extended cool down in Spring, so I still held back watering.
By May 2017, finally I see the offsets tips are turning green, so I gently gave it some water, still in doubt if it will make it:
03June2017, temps are warming up, maintaining its position in shade, but have started to give it more water, the tips of mommy plant is showing green growth.
29June2017 - it is doing much better! More alive now..looks like a different plant than before..now I know it is an active summer grower, likes frequent watering at this time.but has to be in shade here since it is too dry.
