Now I will have to add Londonderry & Spirit World to my wish list! Though the only iris I have had rot issues with have been Keppel iris, so I need to see how my newer ones fare over winter before going in whole hog. (Sad, if they just don't like the Carolina climate).

Debra - It was a great production of Into The Woods. It was done theatre in the round, so it had sparse props, and they staged it very cleverly using books and trees, and a sliding library ladder for towers (like Rapunzel's). Great singing, but I think Little Red Robin Hood stole the show. Smiling

Glad you guys liked the pics of the 06-77 kids I am really looking forward to seeing what else comes from them. There is a story in the Tall Talk magazine about the 1st picture, Joe had a group on the tour try to pick out the best seedling in a group of 200 or so this was his favorite Smiling

Marilyn I will look forward to seeing your bloom pictures in April that is a great collection you could make some amazing crosses just daubing pollen between that group of plants in your photos. Smiling I have quite a few out of Friendly Advice that should bloom in the spring excited to see what comes from it.

Tom the boss drug me out on Friday to shop for our kids Smiling it was definitely a experience but not as bad as previous years probably because most stores opened on Thanksgiving Thumbs down and yesterday was in the upper 50's felt great outside I took advantage of it and spent the day getting the Christmas lights up and finally got all the seeds bagged, labeled and in the fridge.

Here is the last cross Kieth mentioned in the catalog it was from Reckless Abandon cross and he got some neat patterns from it this first one is really unique with Variegata Standards and Plicata falls Blinking Awesome plants !! not the best pictures of them but the color is close.

These next couple are seedlings that come from Gypsy Lord and they were Outstanding !! it continues to shock me there are so many good plants coming from it in a wide range of colors and patterns everywhere I visited had something cool with Gypsy Lord in the pedigree but these two really stood out at Kieths. This 1st one caught my eye a couple years ago when I visited and was thrilled it was still there and growing well. Look at the huge Beards on it won't have any problem with ID on these two they will definitely stand out in the garden. One of my projects at home is Oranges to few of them coming out lately so really hope this one makes it someday.

I am especially pulled in by the colors on 07-60A. I guess just like the really fun bright colors! But then again I see what you mean about 07-79A...the colors are so subtle, the form is beautiful, and those beards are nice and full!

Mary Ann, I'm glad you asked that, I was wondering the same thing but forgot to ask while squealing over the beauties, LOL.

Thanks guys glad you like the pictures his garden is amazing !!

Mary Ann the color of the standards that yellow in them is why I called it that do a search of Variegata plants.. What made this one special to me is combining that color in the standards with the plicata in the falls, I have never seen anything else like it in that color but there are so many in his garden that are unique like that and almost impossible to describe.
