Sean, I think you have a GREAT garden plan.

All of us have beds with "the survivors", but I guess some gardeners have bigger cemeteries than others. The bold and adventurous gardeners have big ones!

Sort of like Nature herself: many are sown but few reach maturity.

Eventually the hope is to have a garden that doesn't need quite so much redoing each year. On the bright side, I'm getting closer!

Maybe a rainbow? After a rain storm when the rainbow appears it is like a new beginning.

Gee, that image of the red haired girl seems nice...and quite musical.

I really like the rainbow idea, but maybe with just a pretty flower in the bow? Like greene said, rainbows seem to be a symbol of new beginnings and, to me at least, hope.

Tried looking online for a free image and saw some with a green leaf and rainbow...but then I went cross-eyed and gave up.
Who are some of the folks here on ATP that are able to design these microbadges?

Woofie, that was meant to be a bit tongue in cheek. This mental image of Annie holding a pot with a drooping flower in it and the sun peeking up behind her just popped into my head, and of course the opening line from Tomorrow running along with it.

I don't really think of Baum's works as optimistic, nor am I a fan of Annie, but it does have that "it will get better" song

I really like the "next year will be better" idea, and the fingers crossed on a green-thumbed hand works for me.

I've got a question. This may not be the right place, but point me elsewhere if necessary.

I've noticed that the pages show only 12 badges. Like many of you, I own many more than that. Is there a way of selecting the 12 that actually show on our posts?
