I love that it's the Texas badge and then says, "enjoys or suffers hot summers" after it Rolling on the floor laughing
So accurate. Strange though, Cinda. It still looks fine for me.

I was looking for a micro badge for "cheap, frugal gardener".

I can't edit this down to 32x32 pixels, but it's what I was thinking of.

Thumb of 2016-12-21/RickCorey/d2e01d

Or just a "cent sign" ( ¢ ) with something squeezing it.

Does editing that appeal to anyone with artistic skills and a bit-level image editor?

Dave, I see there is a badge for annuals but not for perennials. I'd like to see one for perennials. Maybe a tree and a vine?

I was told to direct my request here. There is currently no "Master Gardener CA" badge available. There are four others, but for different states/countries. Can someone add the CA option? Thx

Several of the requested badges already exist (tomatoes, apples, photographer, etc.). But, this brings back an older conversation of reworking the badges to be more consistent. I find it a bit scattered to simply list them alphabetically. It was suggested that all the regions be listed in one section, garden-specific badges in another, and animals in yet another. The animals should (in my opinion) be just the name of the animal - some say 'raises x', others say 'keeper of x', still others are 'lovers of x'. Just the name of the animal would be sufficient and may well mean different things to different people. The deer badge, for example, may mean a person is plagued by deer damage, while to another person it may mean they enjoy co-existing with deer.

Yes, those badges already exist because the post that JCBodie quoted is from Feb 1, 2015. Member JCBrodie was just using that quote as an example and is requesting a new badge for California Master Gardener, which does not yet exist.
