Thank you, Tom - We have no shortage of space over here, just time and energy! I'd be truly dangerous if I was retired and had a tractor because I would have to fill our 10 acres with you know what.

My iris beds are new, so my photos would only be of the rhizomes. So instead, I'll show part of my rhododendron, camellia and azalea garden.





Someone got me thinking of adding in some irises into this garden. Shame on you who ever you were. ...

I lost a couple of rhododendrons this year and I have a few more that are sick. It's been a rough 2 years on my garden.

Rob, I think some PCI's would look really nice with your Rhodies and Azaleas.. Just sayin'

My gardens are a mixture of so many things, and it's always changing too. Iris get mixed in with roses, daylilies and perennials. These are from May 2013.





And then last May, not so many clumps as the gophers took a big liking to iris but I managed to save most of them.

What is the tall blue flower at the back of the bed by the Phormium? I love the combination of Paul Black with the dark Phormium and Abutilon. Magical combination.

It's actually a ceramic glazed ball. I think it was a Ross purchase.

The blue is Italian Bugloss (Anchusa azurea)
My garden shot in that entry was taken the first year here. It self seeded and none of them ever got as big as that first one, a good thing though as all my other plants got bigger. It was a 4" pot from Annie's http://www.anniesannuals.com/p...
