Mary Ann, when does it usually re for you?

I'm at my aunts and she is offering to give me a piece of her Iris. It rebloomed for her last Oct. She doesn't know the name. Does any one recognize it?

Neal -- September, October -- thereabouts.

Meredith -- I don't know what it is, but it's beautiful!!!

Maybe Arlyn can pipe in, as mine hasn't bloomed yet to compare, but check out 'Earl of Essex' Meredith. Everyone says it's a reliable rebloomer.

That does look like the Earl. I have it and it's lovely as can be.

I used African violet fertilizer on citrus trees that never make fruit and got 2 limes! I think I will experiment in the rebloom section with the cheap Miracle-Gro AV stuff. It is supposedly not the best for my AV's so this is a good opportunity to off-load it. My AV's bloom, so it can't be all that crappy.

A surprise bloom on 'Gladiatrix'. Happy to see it as the cat broke off the only stalk it had in the spring.

That is a gorgeous bloom, Sherry. One of many, I suppose, if you just planted 90 rhizomes!

George Sutton's Amakiki opened. It is the first bloom for it this year.
It's a vigorous plant and makes a good clump.

Carl, would you add the photo of Amakiki to the database please. It is a gorgeous iris.
