Linda, I feel your pain! It's 3:15 a.m. here and I can't sleep because it's too hot. We just now broke into the 70's. Why does 79* sound so much better than 80*? I hope the Air Conditioner man comes tomorrow. We've been waiting for days.

My sympathies, Leslie. That's the worst when the air conditioner goes out. We've had it happen twice during the heat of summer. I slept with the fan blowing across me.

My sympathies to you too, Linda. 110F is just brutal. We've had that here but not every year.


They are calling for a high of 93F. That means it will probably be 96F here at the house. It is currently 70F at a quarter after 8AM. It is heating up fast. I have a pepper plant that is finally getting flowers after a year of growing. I hope it isn't too hot for it to set fruit.

You are living my nightmare, Leslie. I sure hope your air gets fixed quickly. We were 106 before noon today, plus the internet went out till now. Do not know the temp right now.

Bill is gone, 1.6" here only. To the East and to the South got the most. One,place got 13.60" pollen finally dried!

97F. It's not Tucson but it's bad enough.

It was a cool, 65f mostly cloudy day here, not complaining at all, I got quite a bit of weeding done this afternoon.

We hit 110 F today.
