I'm nipping at your heels Linda. "They" say we'll be 97 tomorrow, I sure hope so as it will be a welcome break. But Sun. they have us for 99 & Monday 100. No clue what the heat index will be for those days. We are afraid to hope for rain b/c then we just steam & the humidity is more miserable than the extreme temps.
I was looking back at the almanac for last year in June & we only had 6 days in the month where we hit 90 or over & only 1 of those over 91.

They're calling for a high of 95F. That means it will be close to 100F at the house. Currently it is already 72F at 8:30 AM. I'm glad there was nothing much I was wanting to do outside. Today is a stay in the house day.

Looked at our 15 day forecast last night, and wasn't too happy to see a 107 in there. Looked this morning, and they raised it to 109, and raised the next day to 107. Plus, the rest of the week is close to that as well. We've decided to go visit my Dad for a few days, who will only be in the upper 90s. Hilarious! He has way better A/C than we do! Not leaving until next Friday, and if they lower the temps, we probably won't go. Just can't stay gone long because of the plants.

I have plants that I have sold on eBay that I need to mail out but it's just too hot. I told the purchaser of the plants and she's o.k. with waiting, though I hate to make them wait.

Sounds horrible Ann! The local weather people here are putting little snow scenes behind their forecasts and snowmen, etc. to kind of cool us down. Whistling I kind of like it, gives one hope that winter will one day return. Hilarious!

Very harsh temps for you there Linda. I was away yesterday, it was mildly nicer and breezy at East Bay. Bad for Escalon, a city about 26 miles to our east, they had vegetation wildfire that destroyed three homes there. It was rather windy yesterday when we returned home, cooled us down a lot. Same breeze that quickly engulfed those poor homes.

We also have a bad fire in a town 50 miles north of us. Burning Salt Cedars which I guess burn very hot. Lots of homes in the area which is very hot and windy as well. Tough time of the year in the desert.

So sad for those who lost their homes. How horrible that would be.

Tarev, I want a weather station like yours!!!! I see it tells you what the humidity indoors is - cool! And the low & high for the day all on one screen w/o you having to punch through a bunch of buttons to get that info. AND it tells you the pressure too!!!! Mine isn't that deluxe. Can you please tell me the make & model? I see it says Accurite but which one? Thanks!

Humid again today and the temps are about 20 degrees higher than yesterday. Lily did get a shorter walk earlier this afternoon and then a car ride with me to Taco Belle.

Then she had to stay inside while I sprayed all my roses with the fungicide. So cute seeing her little face looking out the front screen door watching to see what I was doing out there. She usually does go out with me while I garden but of course not when I am doing the roses.

Honestly the order taker at the drive thru at Taco Belle drove me nuts. Made me repeat and repeat my order 3 times! Then and only then does he start to put it in the computer so I had to repeat it twice more before it got taken. Geeze. Can't figure out why he simply didn't press them in as I was saying them. Oh well ate a burrito for lunch, have another to have for dinner later and put a Cantana Steak Bowl on the fridge for tomorrow. Didn't feel like cooking ha-ha!

It's been very cool here so far today, I actually had to put my flannel shirt on, Blinking 56f degrees, sun and clouds and very breezy, makes it feel very cool out there. Chance of thunderstorms this afternoon.
