Rolling on the floor laughing Well said Barbara and Bonnie!

Orchid Dove - decided to grow a bloom stalk when all the others were finishing up. Most of the buds never opened, but it has been very hot.

Sun, shade, rain

And finally my Seakist bloomed! Was sent the wrong iris the first time around, so glad this one really is Seakist. Smiling

What are these itty bitty bugs all over the bloom? They are on my Japanese now too. Never had them before the very last TB blooms this year.

My Orchid Dove was the last of my TBs to bloom and it is such a beauty and the flowers are large and well formed. Won a blue ribbon with it at a show last year.

Speaking of late...Reckless in Denim decided to bloom today! Its first time.
I don't think I'll have enough of this to trade. It only made one increase. Maybe next year.
Sorry to disappoint anyone.

Jan, My .Reckless in Denim pouted for about 3 years, and then this year it seems to be doing better.

I will have to spray for them on the Japanese then - don't want anything sucking the moisture out of those blooms!!!

Jane - your Orchid Dove had way more blooms than I got. Mine literally threw it out there at the last minute. It is a very pretty iris and I can see why you won a ribbon with it! Thumbs up

Jan - fantastic shots of Reckless In Denim!!! I have it ordered. I have found that some of my Blyth's pout an extra year, then give a real show (like English Charm last year).

Brazilian Holiday - pretty in shade, wowza in sunlight. Wish it had better form, but a real pretty iris I think.

Same bloom - shade and sun:

Greg - it was another of mine that I doubted would bloom this year but proved me wrong. I had a lot of little underdogs that bloomed this year.

Okay - another one that really waited until the end to send up stalks, but it also gave me lots of blooms. I call it Miss Photogenic because it is really hard to take a bad picture of, this is My Oh My:

Greg - I hope this one blooms for you too. I think you will really like it.

On an odd note, and I think the strange weather this year is the reason , but later blooms were smaller than the initial blooms.
