This bed and the one behind it were dug later that same summer.

Gorgeous! Love the...that's a wisteria, isn't it? I never see them here. Although they're supposed to be cold hardy to zone 5, I just don't think they grow well in our weather. That is one lovely, lovely bed, and I love the curve of the walk and the stonework, too.

Teri - looks great. Would you care to list what you've got in that bed - afternoon sun is a problem for lots of hostas.

I've started casually collecting the tiara hostas. So far I have my favorites--'Golden Tiara,' 'Grand Tiara' and 'Heavenly Tiara.' Of them all, I think 'Heavenly Tiara' is the showiest. 'Golden Tiara' is the most mature one I have, and the one that got me into the tiaras in the first place. I really like their growth habit; there's something so tidy and pretty about them.

So far I've mostly just taken individual hosta shots this year, but here are a couple of whole garden shots. This was taken 5 days ago. They are even more unfurled now. I see this one is complete with dandelion. LOL

Is this a contest, Ann--Spot the Dandelion? I see no such thing! You haven't seen dandelions until you're seen MY yard.

Your beds look wonderful. Hurray!

Wonderful gardens, Ann. I agree with Karen, I don't see a dandylion. This just goes to prove that WE are our own worst critics. Most people just see how beautiful our gardens are, but we, well, we pick them apart even if they are pretty darn near perfect. Smiling I think your gardens are beautiful, Ann.

Ann, no one would have found it if you had not said there was a dandelion there. Your gardens look great!
