I LOVE LOVE LOVE air Anna. I think you will enjoy it sooooooo much, can you tell I love it. And those boys are so cute too!!! I would have another project for them right quick!
My hyacinth beans shriveled..hmmm. I recycle every year and I guess I will need to get a new one this year. They grow so fast. The deer eat tho but I find if Input high enough ( started in a pot ) they mostly leave alone. Annuals well worth the $3.50.

People try to turn back their "odometers." Not me. I want people to know 'why' I look this way. I've traveled a long way and some of the roads weren't paved
LOL...............I can't afford to have them any more.
They were telling me about an 800 square ft. addition they put on a log cabin last summer...........cost $300 grand. And they paid cash! Sounds gorgeous, and the pics of the outside one guy had on his phone were stunning.

Soooo.................yesterday as I'm lounging on my swinging chair out in the pergola, I'm thinkin'.........sure would be nice if I could have some kind of planter boxes on the south side railings. Hmmmm.............I have those 3 hayrack planters that you can't see any more because of the solar collector on the south side of the house. There were 2 there, plus one on the west side of the house. We just got done putting 2 on the south side railing and the other one on the east side. Pic to follow tomorrow. They will be smashing with sweet potato vines in them. I think I have a picture of the ones on the south side of the house before we put the solar up. The urn will not be there, it has another place to be. LOL

ahhhhhhhh lovely thought to put planters on your pergola! I'd like to do the same on my deck railings........... if we have them!
I know we'll have to get the pergola done, attached to the back deck

Our lives are like quilts - bits and pieces, joy and sorrow, stitched with love.
Tonight we ordered a spot/floodlight off of Amazon............it's solar and hopefully will throw enough light that we'll only need one out there.
The SU wired in a 2 plug box this afternoon. He came in and said "well, it works; I plugged the drill in and it went.". LOL
When we were at Menards earlier this aft I told him I guess I was going to have to scrap my water feature and look for some cool wind chimes instead. He said "if you want a water thing, get one". I said I didn't really know where I'd put it, since where I originally wanted to put one was where the picnic table is now residing. And I am SO glad of that; that it fit there, I mean.
Just beautiful, Anna. I'm sure it will get a great deal of use this summer.
Any day you wake up on the sunny side of the grass is a good day.

I told the SU that I had another brainstorm............I thought it would be nice if I could plant the plants I'm going to dig up at Mom's somewhere around the pergola (since she paid for it......:>). Well, I knew I didn't want them on the south side because of the slope and I said I didn't want the rain to wash dirt down in there. Besides, I have those planters we hung on the south side boards last week, and more plantings there would be, to me, a bit "much". On the north side there was a triangular area that was just a big nothing. I said "you know, if I could put something in front to even it up somehow and keep the dirt in I could plant whatever I dig up in there". I said we could use some of those wood chunks and he said "oh, you can't use THAT...........I think some of those wooden fence posts we brought home when we tore out that fence for Lentz last year would work". By golly, he was right................
Oh, and today he put the solar light up that we got for the inside.
