ALOHA!!!!

I find bloom's all around the house. Stuart is always leaving them here and there. He practices his lei making skills all the time. Here is his latest, one with Hawaiian Rose and Siam Red. The Hawaiian Rose are now small trees and an abundance of lei blooms. ENJOY!!! PS He uses 5lb test line (fishing line)

Lovely... I got to try that 5lb fishing line one day. Bet you don't need a needle for that.

By the way, I was able to fulfil my promise today, I gave my co worker a plumeria lei and she was so happy with it. She wore it all day and now everybody wants a fresh flower lei!

Lynda LaRocca, the 2015 winner of the Larry Schokman Book Award, at the Tropical Flowering Tree Society in Miami, wore my lei last night....

This lei must have smelled great, Singapore white, Celadine (??) and ???. How many blooms did you use for this double lei?

That is simply gorgeous, Hetty.

The pale yellow flower is Mele Pa Bowman, a cross between Singapore and Celadine. It has the same outstanding scent as Singapore. It was indeed overwhelmingly fragrant. I would guess there were about 100 blooms in that lei. I wasn't counting...

Wow! That's a lot of bloom and first I've heard of Mele Pa Bowman.

I should add the brightly colored blooms in the center are Jeannie Moragne.

The simplest lei - I have to do a demo for a summer camp group tomorrow so want to give them an easy example.

A simple lei is pretty much all I can do for now.

Made the first two leis 'on commission' this morning. One for a man and one for a lady, for a charity event. I hope they like them!

I'm sure they will love them!
