So sorry I've been away for a bit... I'm in Western New York visiting family so limited computer time! I loosely 'defined' snorkle somewhere on here... I'll see if I can find it. But, it is not my creation, it is from my friend Barb (Fish_Knees on DG). It suits certain, well, snorkle moments!

Faye, the new patio is wonderful. What will keep the grass from growing through the pea gravel? I love pea gravel. You have so much space!!!

Thank you all for your compliments. It was a job but I loved doing it. Yes Sandi, I did it myself. I should have used landscaping cloth on the grass but didn't think of it. The grass was sprayed with Round-up the day before the pea gravel was put down and again today after I finished. I'm thinking that Round-up is going to be one of my best friends.
The plant on the mailbox arbor is a Hyacinth Bean Vine. Would love to find an evergreen vine, anyone know of such a vine? Do they exist?

Rose the border plant is Liaropy ?? Easy to grow.

Was finally able to take a close-up of the vegetable head. Ck. out the eyes.

It's the nose, maybe the earring, that grabs me.

Mike, did you ever see these paintings? Done by an artist named Arcimboldo in the 1500s I think. Probably done in oil paints. True Garden Art.
