The Green Man!! Can't believe I forgot that. It's any kind of art face done in leaves or branches, etc.
Here's one of them

Bet we could make the Green Man out of clay, maybe polymer clay, too.
He's my favorite.

We could make a Sun Man, too.
And a Moon Man.

OK. Check this out:
I discovered this a few weeks ago on the side of an old duplex near my place. Someone cut down a huge hedge that had been hiding it from the sidewalk. No clue what it is, or where it came from, bit it's majorly cool.
This is as close to it as I could get due to a very big dog that was in the vicinity.
Can't tell what it's made of either, but you can see a big pipe coming out the top of it.
I'd love to get my hands on this and use it in my garden...as IF I have any room for such a thing. Can't see the entire base of it, either...there's a lot of debris and weeds at the base of it.
So what do you all think ???

Mike that is absolutely gorgeous. Wow. Does it have a hole in the chin of one of the faces? Could it have been some kind of fountain? What a treasure! And who knows how long it was hidden. Who owns the duplex, can you find out? Maybe they'd pay you to haul it away LOL!

Yes, it does have a hole in one of the faces, which leads me to believe, like you suggest, that it is/was a fountain of some sort as there appears to be a basin under the hole. I've tried multiple times to find someone home there, but no luck so far. I'm on a mission now to find out about this and if I could buy it from whoever owns it.
For some reason, I tend to think it's a prop from a movie set.
It's just going to waste sitting there near the trash cans !

That blasted dog is thwarting my attempts to get a closer look at it !

Blast the dog with something.
Pepper spray??
Paint ball?
Huge squirt gun?
Something.
