Thanks, I just think the color is off a tad. Will take some with the camera once more blooms are open.

My Harvest of Memories always has three or four rebloom stalks and it is doing nothing this year so far. I do have stalks on Rosalie Figge and Feedback. Don't know what happened to Immortality which is always a good rebloomer also. Mine barely has any fans let alone stalks. There is still time I guess.

I don't have any stalks but then mine are all fairly new. Some year in the future maybe I will have a picture to post.

I actually had stalks to cut and take to an ailing friend yesterday...... Daughter Of Stars and one I always called 'unknown white' but has been identified as Immortality. Two stalks made a lovely bouquet. I have more stalks on each plant.

Raining here today, and then tomorrow on it's supposed to be highs in the 60's and lows in the 40's. I'm thinking my Jennifer Rebecca stalk will be stalled out unless we get another heat wave.

How cool that they rebloomed the first year, Arlyn!!

Lucy -- if you're reading -- how did John come up with that name Brom Bones? Curious...............

Sleepy Hollow. Interesting choice for a name, but I like it.

I believe it Re'd for them around Halloween, and they wanted a name that "reflected" that time of year. It "tried" to Re last season, for me, but "froze out" on the last night of October.

Right on Sleepy Hollow. My name suggestion by the way. See; never marry an 'English major' but read it in 7th grade. Needed something Halloweenish.

Brom is an old Dutch abbreviation for Abraham. Abraham became Abrom to Brom.

I guess I'm not familiar with the story of Sleepy Hollow -- well, the gist of it, but not names.

Thanks for the info!! Smiling

In case you have not guessed, Brom Bones was the bad guy.

I don't think he was a really bad guy he was sort of a local hero. He was a rowdy fellow that was a daredevil of sorts and when Ichabod came to be schoolmaster and started courting his girl, Katrina Van Tassel, he rather took to playing mischievous pranks on the schoolmaster. His stunt at the covered bridge as the headless horseman ran old Ichabod out of town and he married the lovely Katrina. Brom had the approval of her father old Baltus.

It's been so many years since I read that, I don't hardly remember much more then the headless horseman. You have a good memory Bonnie. Did anyone else have to read Evangeline in 8th grade? That's another one that I can barely remember.
