OK -- this is gonna sound corny -- but I'm gonna say it anyway.

Animals understand death -- but they do not understand disappearance. If there is any way that Cheyenne could be allowed to see Patch, it would help her. If Patch is not available to her, then explain to Cheyenne what happened. Out loud, and in the language you would use for a child. I think it would astound us if we knew how much they actually understand.

For what it's worth.

Cheyenne was with her as she drew her last breath. She knows, she's just sad.

Thanks Jan,

Arlyn you sure have lots of bloom this fall it seems. I keep looking at Baby Blessed, but don't think it's going to happen this year. We're having a slow rain today. Thinks are very wet. I hope it doesn't go on and on and keeps me out of the gardens, I have too much to get done yet.

We had a front come through , and got a half inch in just a few moments !

The rebloom season is doing OK Thumbs up , I see Smell The Roses is showing color, as is Total Recall, and another 6-8 are "stalking". Nothing yet on Clarence, or Feedback. I planted "Inner Space" this year (maybe 6 weeks ago, now), and look what IT did !

Hi All,
Sorry to hear the bad news...always hurts.

On the original topic, have you checked out www.rebloomingiris.com ? They list which zones a certain iris has rebloomed in, so you can run down the list and look for your zone. I had another site but will have to keep looking for it - seems to have disappeared - but maybe this one will give you some suggestions to get started on.

How jealous am I! My Inner Space bloomed it's heart out this spring, but no rebloom tendencies going on here.

Gorgeous, Arlyn! I have two, count them two (2), bloom stalks on MDB Trimmed Velvet but they are growing sooooo slowly it is almost painful......... well, for me anyway.

Jane, please post a pic when it does bloom! I had seen that was on the reblooming list.
