Weather is great here, 52f degrees, sun and clouds, almost no wind, it rained last night. I can't believe that there are still petunias blooming in my pots, plus some other plants in the garden, the grass is still green, DH had to cut it yesterday, this has not happened before in my 14 years of living here.

over here days are cloudy with some light rain, mornings with mist.
Day temps are around 57F, nights around 47F
Not too bad, but I would love to see some sun again... Sad

We've had just a tiny bit of rain too. It was only enough to settle the dust, but I'm happy. The dust was getting bad! Lots of cloud cover and cool air, so we got 400 feet more of fence put up. Hurray! Over 1,500 or so more feet to go on that line, but it is a start!

The invisible rain stopped here pretty quickly but now the rain has just restarted and it is very visible! Hurray!

I am a strong believer in the simple fact is that what matters in this life is how we treat others. I think that's what living is all about. Not what I've done in my life but how I've treated others. ~~ Sharon Brown

Even chillier here this morning, 16F (-9) overnight. Quite a switch from the beginning of last week when we were in the 70s F (20s C). Time to drag out the winter woollies.

That is really cold Sue, hasn't been that cold here yet. It's 35f here, there was some fog but it's gone now, overcast with a slight chance of a shower this morning.

I could take pictures of the 2" of snow on my deck that fell yesterday and mention that it was 29 degrees last night, ugh, but I would rather introduce you to the newest love of my life who arrived Friday a week ago from Dallas. ATP members meet.

Lovey dubby Lovey dubby Lovey dubby Thanks Natalie. She is just precious, smart as Einstein, lovable as a teddy bear, and ripping into everything not tied down. Working on house training for a week, this morning she 'pooped and peed' outside in the snow for the first time. Being from Texas, snow is a new adventure for her. She loves it. Very early first snowfall with Fall Foliage still going on.

haha, over here we NEVER jump for joy when it rains! We get more than our share Whistling
Au contraire: 3 or 4 days of sun and 25+ degrees (C) are reasons to celebrate Hilarious!

2" snow in October... wow, you must have a really long winter period..!
Don't get me wrong: I LOVE winter! The whole 2 months or so that we usually have it Hilarious!
I wouldn't want to live in a country in the tropics, where all seasons are alike (except for the rain season, and that's no fun either Thumbs down )
But 5 or 6 (or 7??) months of snow and freezing temperatures? No way! Big Grin
I guess you like it or else you wouldn't live there, right? Thumbs up
