Some nice ruffles. Like the first and second ones best.

I agree, Tom. Those first two photos make you say 'now that is an iris'. lol Can you imagine what they would make you say if you could see them in person?

I really like white irises. They just compliment others really well as a accent or background, but would stand out alone. Those are some nice ruffles on em too...

Thanks everybody !! I had a lot of really good Whites bloom this year but they were the hardest to choose from because while there were quite a few that were good they were not better than the parents Shrug! and I want unique plants that you can pick out from across the garden, my favorites are the ones that need no tag to ID Smiling but I kept a couple wondering what happens the next generation with them when mixed with other things maybe something interesting pops up from such a good pedigree.
The 1st one was my favorite because of all the bubble ruffles and it had a good bloom count but number 2 had a nice stalk but not unique enough.

Oh my heavens. The third one with the flush of pink in the standard, and the fourth that is faint blue with a pink flush. Love the form. Love love love the colors.

You may have been looking for a pink, but you sure found a sweet white in the second to last picture. It looks to have a faint pink glow at the mouth too. What a pretty iris.

I think that white is pretty special too.. Lots of ruffles and a nice form.

I love #2, Brad. Not pink -- but look at those ruffles. And the color is wonderful. Thumbs up

I enjoy a lot of Mike Sutton's plants as well he has come up with some really cool patterns, after doing a little homework and studying the pedigrees of some of his I realized a lot of them trace back into Ghio lines Smiling one of my favorites from him is (Adventurous) it grows very well here and I was curious if I could get it's pattern and color to transfer onto something else with better form so this is what I got from mixing it with (My Beloved)

Thanks guys I really liked this group and it was hard to pick a favorite there.. number 2 had a beautiful soft color and it picked up some frill and lace from (Just Witchery ) but then number 3 stood out in the row with those beards along with that color it really glowed especially mixed in amongst the White's and then last one the was my favorite white that bloomed it went through some strong storms here and stayed upright with the standards intact it was almost perfect Smiling I hope many more bloom here like these it is a lot of fun to find these in a seedling patch Smiling

Looks like one of the seedlings went rogue... which of course I like... Also like the yellows, but I'm really drawn to a good yellow and white.. It puts me in the happy zone. I'm really loving this thread. Thanks for posting all these great pictures, Brad.

Of the Just Witchery/My Beloved, I love #1 and #2. I love the color and the ruffles. The whites are lovely but I prefer color. You need the whites to make the colors pop though.

They are very nice. You must have pink (tangerine) hiding somewhere because of the orange beards.

Brad - Would you consider posting on the 'Iris For Dummies' thread some of your methodology in getting the results you do. You know, like, do you go back into the parents family tree looking for color/traits?
