I agree @Gerris2 get the big Thumbs up for the cool looking Morning Glories. That last one is a fave! Keep posting them, they resemble an adenium to me. Whistling I will just pretend they are.

Bea! You can have a big "head" you earned it! I'm amazed with your landscaping on your 2 acre! Yikes on those big leaves but they look really interesting from a distance! That bench is such a perfect place for an early morning newspaper ๐Ÿ—ž (am I dating myself?) and just to relax! I only have a tiny yard but nowhere near as pristine as yours. Good thing you do not have to worry about HOA because your artsy landscaping is a joy to look at.

Yes and both hubby and I volunteered for a few years. It truly feels like a thankless job though. Most try to do the right thing but there are a few who gets over zealous.

Hahaha.. Green Grin! , lucky me that we don't have those here...
But if the HOA show up at my property, by law I have the right to shoot them right? Hilarious!

Rolling on the floor laughing you can't shoot someone who is just taking pictures of your property from the streets or flying a drone to take photos of your messy backyard. The property management company will not knock on your door. In fact they avoid confrontations and won't let you know in person, they just send you emails of your violation and set a time to remediate before fines are imposed.

And you are indeed lucky, your additions on your rooftop would be a hefty application fee or fine if you didn't get approval ahead of time.

Thanks so much, Bea! I've been fortunate to have online friends who also grow morning glories and we exchange seeds. Sometimes I score on eBay. Usually the first option is most rewarding and results in cultivars none of the commercial seed companies carry or care to have in their inventory.

I got this one in a nice trade which I call Milky Way on Steroids.

@GigiPlumeria
To explain the process is a bit complicated depending on several variables and climate zones. Even though it is a simple process once the similarities are ascertained to your growing conditions .
It would be more advantageous to send a link to cover which variables that match your zone and growing conditions.

Good luck hope you get more blooms. I tip my hat to you.

That sounds very loose and arbitrary compared to the HOAs I've encountered where the restrictions are recorded in the county land records and attached to the properties in perpetuity.
