Kaktus said: @bumplbea , Do you need to re-plant most of your flowers every year ? 4 to 6 years ago ( don't remember when), I visited The Butchart Garden in Canada, a lot of beautiful flowers, I asked them whether they planted the flowers once, and every spring/summer the flowers are just wake up from dormancy and started to bloom ? The people in there said "No, we have to re-do almost everything every year" . .. .. If I have to re-plant everything every year, I think I'll quit gardening

GigiPlumeria said: Wow 😮 Absolutely gorgeous! My garden is only a 1/4 acre and mine is not even close to the way your garden is laid out and organized Bea! And it doesn't help that depending on the time of the year or my hubby's mood he keeps thinking of selling our home and transferring to an age-restricted community or a bigger yard away from the "busy" area. So all my favorite plants are in pots just in case we have to move!

Your adeniums will always be with you even if you move. Never loose any is the advantage of potted plants.
Here is a drone pic of the property taken during winter. Kind of blurry sorry it's from a video . Just a section gives you the idea of the lay out for the garden and pastures. I can't believe I planted so many trees and shrubs across the front by the road, and all around the home , greenhouse and barn. There was nothing there but pasture and the garden kept growing and growing.
