No worries about skillets or frying pans ... all fires are put out quickly.

Please don't feel like you just have to "lurk" here on ATP ... we're a very friendly bunch and we love chatting about our gardens and plants on those specific forums but we also love chatting about our pets, backyard birds, the weather, dirt ... and tons of other stuff in the Sandbox forum: http://garden.org/forums/view/...

Hi - glad to find this thread! I'm also here from DG - joined back when ATP and Cubits started, but didn't see many people posting, so I went to DG to keep in touch with friends.

Glad to see some of my friends are now on ATP!! I have some cubits as well, which I will be updating as I can

I will check DG now and then, to make sure that all my friends are kept in touch with, but I suspect that they'll eventually manoeuvre themselves here

Feeling a titch melancholy .. DG has a Christmas gift exchange .. names are drawn by one of the ladies in our thread .. her husband was ill over one Xmas , he passed away

, but, he thought it would be nice for those of us on the thread to exchange gifts.
Got mine today .. but, the lady who kind of 'monitors' the thread .. has become upset with the changes, and the few of us who have come over to ATP .. she has chosen to leave ..
Saddens me ..

Anyway .. best get a shuffle on ..

I think I've been mispronouncing the word Canuck wrong for years too but then again, I'm a southerner and with my accent a lot of things sound as though they are pronounced incorrectly.

I've always pronounced (Canuck) as Kuh-nook.
