So far it is 82 here today. This very warm spring we are having has evidently brought out the pack rats, mice, little ground squirrels etc. When I looked out front this morning I saw one of my stock had been pulled out of the pot and lying on the ground.
When I went out I saw the other one in the pot had its flowers trimmed off of it and looking around I saw the group of pots of Violas had had their centers eaten out of them!! This grouping of pots was looking so nice. I am not a person that likes to hurt little critters but they 'drew first blood' and I am pretty ticked off! I will do what I have to, to save my flowers. The back yard has a huge number of pots all in bloom and I know they will be next!
Usually these creatures do not bother the front yard!!!
