We still have plenty of blooms here in Naples Florida. I just have to pick them before the almost daily rains knock them off! Here are some that are still in bloom:

I have late bloomers and a few seedlings with buds! So worried we will have a cold blast and I will not see the blooms of these seedlings:

Here is what it looks like, I have to bend the Branch to get a close up look. This boquet of bloom is huge - basketball size. This does look like Miami Rose.

Beautiful, Gigi! I love the California sunset. I don't think you have too much to worry about currently, as far as cold fronts. I'll keep my fingers crossed though! Crossing Fingers!
Can't wait to see the seed blooms!

Thank You! Jim, hopefully so. Some of the buds have been "tried" to open but they are taking their swee time and does not stay blooming for long.

Mark, I have the same issue with the bloom of my 2nd Maui's beauty seedling. The buds won't open all the way. It had a few buds but will only open halfway. Not sure what is the reason for this issue.

This is always a bittersweet experience for me... California Sunset plumeria...2 year old rooted cutting In bloom for the 2nd time. The first bloom did not provide any branching but the plant doubles in height, on 2nd bloom it showed 3 branches and fuller blooms.

Got this one from my co-worker too a fragrant Sharry Barry and a yellow Oncidium Lovey dubby

Very pretty! I've done the same with mine. It seems to take forever from the time we know it is going to bloom.

@Dutchlady, you are right on Maui's beauty seedling, last year's bloom
Thumb of 2016-09-24/GigiPlumeria/a12f69

This year's bloom has more beauty to it. This is a bloom from a 3-tip cuttings from Maui's Beauty seedling and this will find a happy home with my co-worker. She lost her 10 year old dog and will name this plumeria after her. I still have the mother plant, it has 2 tips.

What a nice gesture to name your seedling after your co-worker's dog. It's a pretty flower and you can see the parent's genes in it. Thumbs up
