Name: Marilyn Greenwood Village, CO (Zone 5b) Garden today. Clean next week.
I cannot resist just so you PNW folks know it could be worse.
-10 degrees last night and -4 this morning warming to 18 today. BUT...... No rain which would really be awful.
Hope everyone stays off the roads, inside, warm and safe.
Well, hello to you all from the state of Virginia. In the 40's today and no rain.
Cliff is headed home today so hope the weather reports I've been seeing for the Willamette Valley are not true.
Not good here Lynn, It is warming up though. Portland is worse than Salem for sure. We got about 1/2" of snow and even that has mostly melted. there is a little frozen rain too. The roads are mostly clear. Wish Cliff good luck! They have cancelled quite a few flights at PDX.
I have a performance tonight. Am sure we'll be playing to ourselves!
Thanks for the report Kevin. Cliff spent the night at our son's house and will be going home today.
How did your performance go?
I'm going to Mathuin's Christmas concert tonight.
Thanks for the link, Lynn and glad to hear Cliff made it to Portland and safe with your son.
Kevin, you are a man that knows how to have a good time! We made it to the 'Kitchen' Wed nite at 10:30 and had a fried shrimp over grits breakfast! It was overwhelming, the food offerings; Thanks for the pointer.
My friends nickname for me was "four star" as I could find find a great restaurant in any town. Anyway, I am so glad you liked the Kitchen! I wish it were bigger so we could take the semp group there or to Word of Mouth but neither are really set up for large groups. I took Greg to WoM and he loved it too.
Finally some SUN and warmer weather! The poor plants don't look happy, although the semps look better than the bearded iris right now. They are not amused with constant cold rain or winter precipitation.
Unfortunately I have two music gigs today so can't play but I did remove the Remay from the daylily and cyclamen seedlings this morning. The seedlings are unscathed.
