This is a 3 year old (almost) clearance and they are doing fine and have made a lot of babies:

Thumb of 2016-04-04/GigiPlumeria/18a014

Last year's 50% off after Mother's Day...I bought 2, both bloomed twice already Jan and now blooming again.

Keith no, I don't know where to find the seeds. Are those visible to naked eye or are they super tiny.

When the flower dies they are a ball of dark fluff attatched to flower stem in the middle, they are long brown seeds and easy to see.

Keith, I will pay closely this time. I usually cut off the dead blooms and put them
Inside the pot but I didn't see any babies growing.

I used to buy one azalea per year, around Easter, to give to my mother. We had a few in each place we lived!

Not expensive or rare varieties, just whatever was pretty and on display before Easter.

You have to leave the flowers on for seeds to develop

gosh, Shannon, clearance already? They don't waste any time! Weather here is looking really wintry tomorrow- maybe I can snag some clearance Monday when they don't move as much stock as they like on an April weekend.
Plant it and they will come.

Got 4 outdoors plants on clearance for a total of $4! They all will be fine with care and flower once established. One is the ball shaped English Daisy, another variegated calla lily, one other was some sort of blue flower, and another looks like a cross between a rose and peony but with parsley looking leaves.

Was at the Lowe's in Rockford, IL, yesterday. Not much on their death rack. There was a sago palm I'd have liked to take with me, but I didn't want to pay $6.00 for it. LOL I need to check at the local WM tomorrow when I go through town and see if they have any Easter orchids left for a pittance. :>)

Having just read this entire thread I feel I must stop at Lowe's to check out the clearance racks when I go to the dentist on Tuesday. Seems like a good reward for surviving a dental appointment. Wish me luck. Hilarious!
