Mine is starting to bloom. I've got some yellow ones and pink ones too. We've always called it Portulaca. Connie and I were gallivanting the other day and went by Sutherlands. It's a hardware store. Out front they had their big hanging baskets for Mother's Day on sale. They were all around the borders of the parking lot closest to the front doors. There were some trees there to shade the plants. Anyhow, They had the most gorgeous humongous pink with yellow throat blooms on something that is like Purslane, but has leaves that look more like Rosemary. I "accidently" broke off a couple of pieces as I was getting into Connie's truck. I couldn't just leave those pieces on the ground, so I picked them up and put them in the truck. About that time, a police officer walked out the front door... Thank God he had some plumbing stuff in his hands and was walking towards his own truck! (wiping brow there - looking mighty guilty.) Whew!!! Anyhow, I broke those pieces into 4 pieces and gave 2 of them to Connie.
Connie is very particular about the ones she choses. Me, I don't care what color they are. I love them all!!! I'll try to remember to get some photos soon.
