Worked out in the garden all day from noon. It was a glorious day not hot so get lots done. Later took Lily for the one mile loop because my friend and her dog Zack came by so we all went walking.

Licorace and Twizzlers should not be uttered in the same breath...one is and one isn't!

Our exercise for the day was driving the Porsche up the Valley for a Fun Rally which we won! (Actually two routes, two sets of questions and a 4-way tie for the route we were on. We were just lucky with the tie-breaker.) Hilarious!

Raining cats and dogs now and we are back home. We pulled out of our driveway at 6:45 am though.

I went to the gym today but took it pretty easy. This was my first time back since my last leg spasm. Hope I don't regret it tonight.

More exercise today as I kneaded a batch of bread. Two loaves in the oven. Raining, so no gardening. I spent the afternoon listening to music on YouTube with printed music and a metronome in front of me. I've never, in all my 50 or so years playing in orchestras, played any of the three selections for our Oct 29 concert. Now I have approximate speeds written in the music which helps for practicing. And I guess when I spend an hour or so practicing later that will count as exercise too.

Beethoven Piano Concerto #3, Schubert Symphony #4 and Haydn's Overture to "La Fedelta Premiata". I've done several other Schubert Symphonies but not #4 and I've played Beethoven Piano Concertos 1, 2, and 4, but not 3 (though it's very familiar). Also playing these three songs at Musical Arts Club in November. https://www.youtube.com/watch?...
