They look adorable there together. I don't think there is even room for Lillie Cat to fit in.

Lily and I did our usual 3 miles of exercise walking. We walked one mile with Zack and his mom and then I met up with the Greyhound Girls and their mom and we walked another 2 miles. So 3 miles for Lily and I.

I am sure Lily would love to walk even more.

So of course if any dogs walk by our house Lily has to watch and bark at them. But if dogs she knows that are friends walk by Lily truly gets excited. So Molly the German Shepard was walked by this morning. Lily doesn't bark but just makes these little whines and moans. She kept turning and looking at me as if to tell me her friend was out there and she should go outside to visit.

cones....when D*O*G was neutered he had to wear one. Vet said he wouldn't be able to reach the stitches but would be able to eat and drink. NOT he got to the stitches, but couldn't eat or drink When he knocked over the spare propane tank (full) that was the end of the cone!!!

sleeping with "the kids"....I sleep on a futon that I do NOT open up. Every night I have Dixie cuddled up with me and here lately, Onyx as well. Now remember these are large dogs...77 and 83 pounds. Very toasty this time of year

Dixie was on a real tear this morning. When kaykay came for coffee she would NOT leave her alone...wallered in her lap and giving kisses. And poor kaykay when she stopped with the butt scritches....Dix was in MODE

It doesn't help or maybe hurt that we have a big picture window in front. So Lily can really see what is going on. She really wants to go out when her friends go by. Funny how they just know. She will be sleeping on the couch and jump up to go to the window. Then if I go look, sure enough one of her friends are out there.

Rainbow, your crate full of chi's is just too cute! They must be so much fun! I've never had them but my oldest daughter just adopted 2 of them. One is short haired and the other is an adorable long haired one. She also has 2 very large dogs, so her house is a happy menagerie bout now.

Oh, quite happy I'm sure! Bet the Chi's are the bosses.

Took the dogs for a car ride to the new place. I hooked Jack and George so they would remain near the car while I unload stuff and found room for it all in the tool shed and zippy plastic greenhouse. The neighbor has two dogs barking like crazy. Jack is always a good boy so no worries there, but I had a few quiet words with George... I guess he understood because he paid no attention to the barking dogs.
Is it possible that George is growing up and learning to behave.

Several years ago my home started to get a bit...cluttered. Being on medication didn't help. My DD's dog chewed up the remote control so I could no longer watch television channels.

I got a computer.

Then I got one dog, another dog, and a cat.

Today, as I am cleaning/packing/discarding/donating preparing to move...I have finally made a path to the old dusty television sitting on a stand with a DVD player and a VCR player. On a whim I decided to push some buttons. I know the television channels won't work but what about the DVD player?

Lights came on, whirring noise, and Inserted a DVD and it started playing. :thumbsup:

Why am I posting this on a pet chat thread you ask?
Well, have you ever seen three pets who have NEVER in their life seen a movie on a television?
All three of them were staring, running in circles, standing on hind feet - yes, even Jack did this - to see the magic box.

BabyK is usually in our bed when we watch tv. For the most part she does not look at the screen. But when Animal Planet or some other animal show comes on, she does watch. And when she hears howling or barking then she perks up.

That's pretty funny, Greene! You should get an aquarium for Lucky -- my cats like that much better than the TV, although when howling wolves appear in some program it definitely gets the attention of the dogs and cats alike
