When I first got my little dog I didn't realize just how busy ad active Papillons are. I soon found out. Lily is busy, busy, busy. A very active and energetic dog.

Hurray! Hurray! Lucky and I just came back from the vet. The cone is gone! Hurray!
Lucky and I (the dogs stayed home) then walked around in PetSmart because Lucky likes to look at everything. Glad we took the time to shop because dog clothes were on sale 75% off Hurray! I bought 2 hoodies, one for Jack and one for George. Lucky met lots of nice people and two friendly dogs; one was a 5 pound Chihuahua, the other was a big headed red Pittbull gentle as a lamb and the cutest little 9 week old German Shepard. I still have work to do but Lucky will take a nap after his big day out. Thumbs up

Hurray! Hurray! Hurray! No cone!!! Hurray! Hurray! Hurray!

Yay, glad that cone is gone! They are the worst. Our Shadow had one for about a month after he had surgery for a tumor on a toe. They had to remove the whole toe, but it never slowed him down a bit They do adjust to the cones and figure out how to eat, and all the vital things, Smiling

Great score on finding the sale at 75% off. And nice of Lucky to make friends.

I bet Lucky is really, really happy now that the cone is gone and life can return to normal.

I really felt that Lily needed her daily exercise walk today as she did not get one yesterday due to the visit to the vets. Plus the cold yesterday. The wind blew right thru you yesterday, today it is colder but without the wind at least we could bundle up and go out.

I put two coats on Lily, one on top of the other and we walked really fast. As fast as I could manage. We got a 2 1/2 mile walk in which I figured was good enough for today. But it is good as Lily might have been tired out yesterday but is back to full of energy today.

Some nice neighbors gave us a Hello Kitty raincoat for Bella and, while I don't believe she's all that bothered by the rain, I suspect she finds it slightly humiliating.

Rain is great; we so need it!

Don't know if anyone has posted this, just saw it in the paper today! I have a "diva" female orange cat and I noticed they mentioned the orange ones, also. The article phrases things in a confusing way sometimes, but I finally figured it out.

I said no...I've called myself a crazy cat lady!

Bella is soooo cute in that raincoat! Lovey dubby She looks like she's posing & knows it too -- showing off for the camera. "See my new rain togs? Aren't they da bomb?" Hilarious!

Interesting study Linda.

Yikes, the pet people are kind of quiet today. Hope everyone is keeping warm.

I had a breakthrough with George this morning.
First I put a warm sweater on Jack. George was watching.
Then I took the big comfy sweatshirt (that belongs to Jack )and showed it to George. He perked up, allowed me to lay it across his back and...here comes the good part..."helped" me to put his front leg into the sleeve. Hurray! We had a bit of trouble communicating how to put the other front leg in but he didn't bite, snarl, growl or get testy. I'll try again tomorrow with a camera close at hand just in case. Thumbs up
