Sandy ...

I do hate being in this fragile state of mind and not playing at 100%. I can mess things up so easily ... Grumbling I know with work, I'll get past it, but while I am in it YIKES ! it's all drama ... I need to give myself a break and then I do something like this ... *Blush*

Lyn, you could still file assault charges against that person. If the Walgreen's knows her name, the law could find her. I kind of regret not trying to file charges years ago against a woman that deliberately rammed her shopping cart into me. At the time, I didn't want to make a big deal about it, but people who physically assault others without any real reason should be held responsible. If they're mentally ill, it might push them to get treatment. I've heard that most times a person who physically assaults others on a regular basis like that has usually assaulted many people before they finally end up getting arrested.

Thats my worry too, my guess is she worked at the nursing home close by. They seem to get the bottom of the barrel alot of times. I would be more worried about Her temper, than catching a buzz. I mean Im not blowing that off, but she just went off soooo fast, and so hard.
Well its another day. MILs funeral was, what, two weeks ago come saturday. The fighting that has ensued over money is mind boggling. Sad sad sad, sick people. Angry . I am a strong believer in the simple fact is that what matters in this life is how we treat others. I think that's what living is all about. Not what I've done in my life but how I've treated others. ~~ Sharon Brown

I was executrix of my Mom's estate. She died Aug. 28th of last year. We closed the estate about a month ago. We all get along, except for the sis that is, by her choice, estranged from the rest of us. She got her cut, which I am sure she blew immediately. I had to put her in her place a couple of times. She probably doesn't like me. I don't care, she is 1500 miles away. Green Grin!

I kept everyone in the loop as to what was happening as it happened, which they were very grateful. Except the snarky one. LOL

In this case its the snarky, greety, spiteful one that is the executor. All other 6 agree, but it only takes one.
Just dont get it. Shrug!

Mom made me the executrix/PR..............she said "you are retired, you have time." My other sisters were SO glad that they didn't have to do the running and bank stuff and bills. It was not bad. But, yes, I did do some running for it. Then the lawyer's sec. told me that I was entitled to about $7k for being exec/PR. I said "nooooo................" My brother said "well, you deserve SOMETHING". I told him it was up to the rest of them to discuss it, I was staying out of it and didn't expect anything.

I was named as Ex but my sis took it over for me..we had the lawyer switch..she was local
We all fought between ourselves -- trying to give memory- stuff to the others
We donated to causes my brother valued rather than sell possessions
I feel for those that have family that lose their minds over the will and distributions.
It makes it so much harder and what the heck does the departed think!

NO that miserable fact belongs in the grumpy thread.
Up to the mid-seventies, I was a football fanatic, then my brain started working and I stopped paying attention.
I actually did not watch a single game for over a decade.
I only watched again when Greenbay finally went back to the super toilet bowl.

What it has become now, especially college is (^(^%*$ ) #@^EU #^$&&& *&%*%&#)!
But to each his own.

The only thing that was more addicting to me was automobile racing, especially road racing. I used to drive almost two thousand miles a year to take in racing.

Now I am still a gear-head but the farce rules that now have nothing to do with which make makes the best car turned me totally off fifteen years ago.
I spent a lot of money doing freelance photo journalism. Got a couple of articles published in snowmobile and motorcycle racing magazines.
Got to the point where an editor was going to pay me for my work the next year; he got fired, end of the line.

As my dad said about what is golden about he golden years ---- NOT one DAMN thing!
There now I feel better, I think I will go have a beer.

What makes it so irritating is, this is about old grudges, and someone being drunk with power he doesnt have. Money is just the ruse to have the battle. One of them once said, after getting remarried to the same person, divorce is sure an expensive way to fight. Hope they remember that.

I remember a good ten years ago, someone asked Cher, what was good about aging...she responded....nothing. I hear Her, altho thats why I still try to just keep a peddlin and finding interest in things. As far as the body Thumbs down Whistling
