AnnaZ said:My sister cannot attend our extended family T'giving today.............so I raided the Greenhouse and made her a bouquet. The BOP had 2 blooms that just opened up a couple days ago. And I donated the WHOLE Vanda spike.............I want someone else to enjoy the beauty; it's not fair that I"m the only one. Soooo...........here, you grumpy peeps.............hope this helps a little. Sorry about it being kinda "bright"............there was too much sun out where I took the pic and the color isn't "right".

Hope things improve for you all!

Beautiful bouquet, Anna.

I'm grumpy because I still have a stomach ache and a headache and my bank card won't work so I couldn't pay tony and Anita all that I owe them. However they both said no problem and Anita tried twice to return what I could pay her.

All in all, I'm thankful.

I don't understand what your trying to say?

Because you are not listening.
You seem too be to busy feeling sorry for yourself.
Your problem is not what other people are doing, it is how you are REACTING to it.

Hey keith,
I kind of get what you're trying to say. You were in the spot I was in before I decided to move 2 time zones away and use a burner phone to talk to relatives.

It's that thing like, "I've changed. You're all the same. Or vice versa. I've outgrown you. I don't know who you are. You don't get who I've become. The only thing we have in common is DNA."

It seems to me you are at this point. I don't see it so much as feeling sorry for yourself as having to go through the gut wrenching, mentally agonizing realizations of these facts and not knowing how to express them or put a voice to your feelings. When you do, it is a sense of not knowing whether or not others 'get it' so to speak.

It sounds like you have a lot of hard soul searching to do about things and how you want to handle them. It also sounds, like it or not, the ball has been thrown in your court. You are now left making the painful decision on which direction you want to take things.

I can't help you there. All I can say is it is painful when these realizations creep in and crack open our consciousness. It takes time to process and digest the real, true fact of how things are as opposed to how we'd like them to be, what they used to be or what we wish they were.

And I hate to say it, but malingering won't help. No matter how hard it is to do only taking an action in the literal sense of the world is what will alleviate your suffering. You ultimately have to be responsible for your own happiness and direction in life. This is true even if it means relieving yourself of family.

Hope that helped.
AG

WOW ! I think I have a town deer with an "attitude" Blinking .

I finished fixing all possible holes or weak spots in the deer fencing and when I went out this morning to check things out, I found that all of the bagged leaves ... taped closed with duct tape ... have been torn open and leaves and bag remnants spread all over the place.

The good news is that the deer fences held ... Hurray!

Lyn, maybe the deer wanted to eat some of the leaves and twigs in the bags seeing as it couldn't get into your roses. Hilarious! I'm glad the repaired fence help up, so good job! Thumbs up

I don't have enough leaves on my own property to mulch my garden, so I go out and collect the leaves I need and bag them. Then I bring them home for the garden.

If you want some leaves, you are welcome to come collecting with me ... Big Grin

Margaret ... that is very possible. It was just kind a strange thing to see this morning.

Geeesh .... who would think a deer would be so vindictive ???

It may not have been a deer. There are a lot of critters up here.

At least my deer fence is fixed. There are days when I am truly ready to give up my role as a pioneer woman. Fixing fences was never a part of my life plan ... Rolling on the floor laughing

Ginny ...

I actually prefer to use straw for mulch these days. No, it does not feed the soil as well, but it does inhibit weed growth better. I also don't have to replace it every year.

I didn't get enough mulch down this year, so I am certain I'll be dealing with a lot more weeds in spring ... Sad

Hit a piece of metal on the causeway. Tire went flat immediately. Couldn't even make it 2 blocks home. Walked home to change out of work clothes and then walked back and changed my tire. This is after being sick at work all afternoon. Don't know if I have a stomach bug or what. Mondays, I swear. Crying

Just got my tire changed and am sitting in my truck trying to decide if I feel up to going and waiting for decades for a new one or put it off. I hate chancing putting it off, but don't want to pay for it or deal with it currently. I still don't feel well and now I'm disgustingly dirty and sweaty.

If this were a "scared" thread, it might be more appropriate........
Remember those awful people who lived in our home, stole/broke stuff and did whatever they could to upset us etc - our former tenants?
Well, they've found us........ damn stalkers! They sent us a "Christmas" card, just to let us know that they know where we are...... They've obviously been here, because the card they sent was addressed to the county's lot # for the Park we're living in. That's not common info. They also addressed it to the "Caravan Park" and that should have triggered my "spidey sense" because they're the only ones I know of that call mobile homes, caravans.
I went to our Mobile Park owners and told them. Next, I'll do as was suggested, and advise the RCMP (rural police).
To say we're upset is the least of it. I'm scared. No, he's never threatened physical violence, but he has spread nasty lies about us, and Bob & I are quiet living people who don't do any of the things he says about us.

@JamesAcclaims Sorry to hear about the flat and your stomach ache. Hope it isn't a "bug" starting.
@RoseBlush1 Too bad the deer or critters couldn't have spread the leaves where you needed them! Thumbs down Happy to know your fence has been mended. Thumbs up

@Tallulah_B Susan, I am so sorry that these evil people have found you and are making your life miserable once more. Happy that you have informed the authorities about them.
