Last night started to binge watch Vikings at Amazon Prime. I guess I just prefer Game of Thrones, but I like that Vikings is free to watch at Amazon Prime, will continue on watching it Smiling

I was just going to mention that the new season of Vikings has started, I think one of the better shows around.

I too, think it merits a view.

So .. anyone else ?confused? re the final episode of the XFiles?

Any health care professional watching it, watched it with one eye shut Rolling my eyes.
I kept thinking, "there must be a part 2" ?

That's just what I thought though ..

It's a cliffhanger. I take it they need stem cells from their son they gave up for adoption to save Mulder. Whether or not the series will continue we aren't sure. And what happened to agent Doggett?

I am so disappointed with the X-Files. When they started making music videos that jumped around so you couldn't focus on anything, I quit watching.

Now this show jumps all over the place. They need to get off this story line and go back to making more like the Trashman. That's what the show was known for. Otherwise, just re-run the old shows.

I only just started watching the new season of x-files. Episode 1 nothing special just getting to see them back together made it ok. Episode 2 I thought was very good reminding me more of the series as it was.

I loved two of the episodes, and thought the others were fine, but actively disliked the finale.

I'd hoped hat it would end with a bang but it sort of fizzled. Shrug!

They had all this time to come up with an idea for the show's return and this was the best they could do? Glare I hope it comes back and does a better job next year!

Need more 'Trashcan Man' type of episodes, instead of kinda outrageous medical hijinks ..
Did they think Health Care professionals don't watch the show? Whistling
I wanted something to make me EXCITED about the next episodes ..

Wonderful to see the 2 main characters back together Thumbs up

I think the first show I ever saw was the four Seraph girls who were all unable to walk but died outside. I was Hooked!

I think my two absolute favorites are the mutated family who kept Mama under the bed and tried to keep the family going.

The other was funny, with Skully telling a story as she saw it and Mulder telling the same story as he saw it. It was hilarious!

The episode you are referring to was called Home that was banned from tv for many years after the original showing. It was also the first ever tv episode to get a TV MA rating. I have to say one of the most disturbing things ever on tv even this many years later. Hard to choose but might be their best episode ever.

Watched the 3rd and 4th episodes last night and thought they were classic X- files, enjoyed both very much. I was always a bigger fan of the Monster of the week episodes over the conspiracy ones.

Do you ever watch Bones? If so, what do you think about it, from a Health Care professional point of view?
It's changed quite a bit from the original - morphed along the way to become more of a relational show, but I did so like the original shows. They're what got me interested in watching it, in the beginning. Rolling my eyes.

My wife really liked Bones and House. Though not a series fan, I actually did think those two were rather good and, if I had to watch some series or face the wrath of Khan, it'd be one of those.

(Admittedly, in it's day I did watch various manifestations of Kirk, Picard, Spock, Data and company).

I like House, too
Right now we're watching movies we got from the library - full seasons of Farscape, Babylon 5, and Deep Space Nine - oldies, but goodies, right from Season 1. Makes for a trip down memory lane.........

Watched 'Boys don't cry', with Hillary Swank last night .. she played her part well .. I do think she was nominated for an Oscar for it ..
Sad ending ..

Also watched 'Woman Thou art loosed: on the 7th Day'
A good movie, but, the acting was a bit 'off' at times, and, the plot had some definite hiccups.
