When my dad & I watch it together, sometimes he is completely stunned and asks me how in the hell did you know that, with a look of bewilderment on his face. It is then I give him a nonchalant look & say "Doesn't everyone"... Just to be a smartass.

You mean there are people that do not watch Wheel Of Fortune?

I went to see The Girl on the Train and while it became obvious, in the same way the murderer was made obvious on the old Perry Mason Show years ago, half way through, how it would actually end was still up in the air and it was nice the way it ended.

I watched Burn After Reading yesterday, after I found the DVD in the shed. Supposed to be a comedy...but it was awful, not funny, all the characters were such disgusting human beings...I'm getting rid of it! What kind of world is this? People reviewing it online actually said it was good...why? Tomorrow is The Durrells in Corfu, something I can actually enjoy!

But GOOD FOR YOU!

Karen,
ROTFL! I'd forget my name too!!

Debbie,
I promise not to call you that for any reason!

Ronnie,
Oh yeah, history isn't my thing either. Or anything younger than the 1900's.

Debbie,
That's funny. DH used to watch the earlier show then go down and watch it with his Dad. Naturally he knew all the answers...

RpR,
I haven't watched ''Wheel'' in forever.

Especially liked that comical red cloak Dr. Strange wore, we were all just laughing watching it do its thing Big Grin

Watched Big Eyes in Netflix. I love Amy Adams but I like films based on actual events. I actually had a Big Eyes doll.

Finished watching last night the BBC tv series The Living and The Dead. It is just one series, too bad it was not renewed anymore. Interesting supernatural storyline.

I just watched a movie in my collection that I did not know I had. What a gem !! At least a 10+ on a scale of 1-10. Edmond Gwenn, Jerry Mathers (before Leave it to Beaver.) Shirley Maclaine in her first movie. A comedy set in New England in the Fall. Directed by Alfred Hitchcock. 1955. IMDB = 7.2. The Trouble With Harry. You really must watch this one. Gene
