LOOOOVE my Penny Dreadful. We have the Finale left to watch. We are savoring the wait. Sad it's not coming back next season. Enjoy every show, @tarev! The show is slow to start. But just gets better and better!

Just watched Mike and Dave need Wedding dates, I was crying from laughing so hard, good movie!

Came across a movie in netflix entitled Practical Magic starred NIcole Kidman and Sandra Bullock. Light romantic comedy, relaxing to watch.

New TV season has started and besides some new episondes of Pickers, I have watched nothing but news; not even new episodes of Gotham.

Have not made it to the theater for three weeks so only movies I saw were a couple of old Tom Selleck westerns on TV,, do not even remember the names.
At the south house all I have is a antena literally stuck in the ground but I did catch a series on the history of the Three Stooges.
Opened my eyes and kind of sad in a way.

Loved Practical Magic!! One I can watch many times

We saw the movie yesterday and liked it (Miss Peregrine's Home For Pecular Children.) The boys are 12 and 10. They lgot it, but younger kids might get lost in the ''plot.''

Went to see the Magnificent 7.
Different in many ways from the original and actually very good.

I am currently still watching Penny Dreadful. I like it and I watch it during day time...my imagination gets too wild when scared heheh.

We saw Miss Peregrine's Home For Peculiar Children too, didn't like it a first but it grew on me. 11 year old grand liked it...9 year old not so much.

Both grandkids 12 and 10 liked it. I wouldn't take anyone much younger because the story is kind of complicated. Some might not like the ''monsters.''

Finished watching Penny Dreadful. I initially watched it during daytime, but yesterday I watched more and slept late. A bittersweet ending indeed. But it is a wonderful show, not for the kids for sure, quite thought provoking. The power of a choice we all have.

Downloaded the first season of Penny Dreadful. However, I did not make it more than 2/3 the way through the first episode. Just too much blood for me. I might try it again later. Gene

Yeah, Penny Dreadful does have a lot of gory parts..and a lot on the supernatural side too. But it grew on me slowly.

Started Narnia with the grandkids and they fell asleep. So, we didn't get very far...

Started watching DC's Legends of Tomorrow. I thought I will get bored but surprisingly I am liking it.

Finished Narnia. Deleted it as it's a bit too old for them.They watched it, but were not excited about it. As a reward we walked to the park.

yeah, you could always see Narnia another time. When my kids were little (bedtime story age), I used to read JRR Tolkein's "Lord Of The Rings" and they're major book readers now. They didn't understand it all and it took over a month, at least, to read it but it's a classic and they understood enough to really get into it.

Watched Neighbors 2 and liked it!

Finished first season of DC's Legends of Tomorrow last night. Glad to know there is a second season, will just wait for it patiently.
